J.R. Galardi, of Wienerschnitzel, and Mike Smith, Founder of Skate For Change, have collaborated their philanthropic passions to create Wienerschnitzel’s “Hot Dogs for Homeless Tour” – a month-long philanthropic adventure to help those in need.
While traveling the country in a Wienerschnitzel-wrapped RV, the tour will hit 13 major U.S. cities throughout March and April 2016, visiting communities with heavy homeless populations and nearby schools to educate youth on the importance of giving back.
The crew plans to serve Wienerschnitzel 40,000+ hot dogs and raise $100,000 for Skate For Change so they can continue to provide socks, hats, clothes, hygiene kits, and other necessities to those who need it most.
“Wienerschnitzel is passionate about sharing company successes to help make a difference in the world and I’m committed to making charitable giving a priority.“ – J.R Galardi
100% of the donations raised will go back to Skate For Change.
Wienerschnitzel has also committed to matching up to $20,000 of the amount raised at each tour stop to increase the total donation back to the organization!
