Cross-Promotional Relationship Sealed with Wienerschntizel-Branded Toyota Tundra

IRVINE, California (January 20, 2015) – Wienerschnitzel, the world’s largest Hot Dog chain, has announced its newly-formed partnership with Toyota, to engage in fun cross-promotional efforts around both brands’ participation at Monster Energy west coast Supercross and Motocross events throughout 2015. The relationship with Toyota began when Wienerschnitzel signed on as the official Hot Dog of professional Motocross team Joe Gibbs Racing Motocross (JGRMX) in October 2014, which Toyota is a title sponsor along with AutoTrader.com and Yamaha.

Toyota will serve Wienerschnitzel’s famous Hot Dogs at the “Toyota Owners Lounge” at all Monster Energy Supercross races across the west coast, in addition to various Toyota-sponsored events throughout the year. To cement the new partnership and welcome Wienerschnitzel to the JGRMX team, Toyota has outfitted Wienerschnitzel with a custom-wrapped 2014 Toyota Tundra featuring Wienerschnitzel’s beloved hot dog mascot, ‘The Delicious One.’”

“We are very excited to partner with such a well-respected brand like Toyota, as it perfectly aligns with and enhances our marketing efforts,” said Wienerschnitzel’s Chief Visionary Officer, J.R. Galardi. “We are truly grateful for the support and guidance Toyota has provided us thus far and, we look forward to developing creative activations and building upon our relationship in the years to come.”

“Toyota is delighted to partner with a west coast icon like Wienerschnitzel in offering new ways to promote both the Joe Gibbs Racing Motocross team, as well as the entire AMA Monster Energy Series,” said Ed Laukes, vice president of marketing, performance and guest experience, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.   “We look forward to working together with Wienerschnitzel to develop new initiatives that will engage fans and help enhance their experience at events this season.”

As the first quick service restaurant brand to ever partner with JGRMX, Wienerschnitzel logos appear on bikes and jerseys of team racers, Justin Barcia, #51, and Weston Peck, #23.
