World’s Largest Hot Dog Chain Serves Up Free Schnitzel In Honor Of National Holiday

Wienerschnitzel lives up to its name for “National Wiener Schnitzel Day,” offering free schnitzel sandwiches with any purchase on September 9

Celebrating “National Wiener Schnitzel Day” like no other restaurant really could, Wienerschnitzel® is offering a free Chicken Schnitzel sandwich with any purchase, to mark the September 9 national food holiday.

The Irvine, Calif.-based restaurant chain is celebrating the official national holiday by giving customers any one of three different schnitzel sandwiches for free. To receive the free sandwich, guests need to show a printed or digital coupon when ordering. The coupon can be downloaded online and presented at a local Wienerschnitzel. There is a limit of one coupon per visit per person, valid only on September 9 at participating Wienerschnitzel restaurant locations.

“What better way to celebrate ‘National Wiener Schnitzel Day’ than at Wienerschnitzel?” said J.R. Galardi, executive vice president at Wienerschnitzel. “Since it’s right there in our company name, we wanted to offer our guests a modern take on this centuries-old classic, with one of our Chicken Schnitzel sandwiches.”

Wienerschnitzel uses a crispy, potato chip-breaded chicken patty served on a toasted bun as part of the restaurant’s unique recipe. Guests can choose from the Classic Ranch Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich with fresh lettuce, tomato, pickles and ranch dressing; the BBQ Bacon Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich topped with bacon, American cheese, grilled onions and BBQ sauce; and the Blazin’ Bacon Guacamole Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich topped with bacon, guacamole, Blazin’ sauce, fresh lettuce and tomato.
